Terms of Use
The working terms for using SessionRun locally, with cloud sync, and with future paid Pro features.
Last updated: May 19, 2026Scope
These terms apply when you use SessionRun on the web or through related app surfaces. Operator details are available in the Impressum linked from this page.
If you use SessionRun on behalf of an organization, you are responsible for making sure you are allowed to accept these terms for that organization.
Using the app
SessionRun helps plan timed sessions, run live agendas, organize blocks, and export session materials. You are responsible for the content you create, import, present, share, or export.
You can use local-first features without an account. Cloud sync, paid entitlements, and cross-device features may require sign-in.
Accounts and sync
Keep account access secure and use accurate sign-in information. Activity under your account is your responsibility unless caused by a security issue outside your control.
Cloud sync is intended to help you move cloud-enabled sessions across devices. Free accounts sync the first cloud sessions automatically within the free limit. It is not a substitute for your own backups of important workshop materials.
Subscriptions and paid features
Paid plans may unlock Pro capabilities such as expanded sync or premium export and collaboration features. Prices, billing periods, taxes, renewal terms, and cancellation options are shown in the checkout or platform purchase flow before purchase.
Subscriptions renew unless cancelled through the purchase flow, platform, or payment provider where the subscription was bought. Statutory cancellation, refund, and consumer rights remain unaffected.
Acceptable use
Do not use SessionRun to upload, store, share, or present illegal content, content that violates others' rights, malware, deceptive material, or content intended to harm systems or people.
Do not attempt to bypass paid limits, abuse sync or sharing features, scrape private service data, disrupt the service, or reverse engineer non-public service components except where law gives you that right.
Exports and shared links
Exports and public/live links may reveal session content to people who receive them. Review exported files and shared links before distributing them.
You are responsible for permissions, confidentiality, participant information, and any organizational rules that apply to the sessions you create or share.
Availability and changes
The service may change over time as features are improved, added, limited, or removed. Reasonable care is taken to keep the service available, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
Beta, sandbox, preview, or experimental features may change quickly and should not be treated as production commitments.
Liability
SessionRun is a planning tool. You remain responsible for facilitation decisions, event delivery, participant communication, legal compliance, and business outcomes.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where such limitation is not allowed by applicable law.
Contact
For legal notices, support requests, billing questions, or account requests, use the contact details in the Impressum.
If these terms are updated, the page will show the new update date. Continued use after an update means the updated terms apply from that point onward.
